The Peridot is also known as the “Stone of Release”, allowing clarity and renewal to take place. The gem is capable of cleansing and healing hurt feelings, bringing honestly and integrity to relationships. It’s a great stone for meditation and can be used to navigate one’s path.

Ruby: The Stone of Nobility

The Ruby is called the “The Stone of Nobility “. It is July’s Natal Stone.

The Ancient Eastern legend about the Ruby is that it is ” A deep drop of the hearts’ blood of Mother Earth”. It’s often worn on the brow in Eastern countries to alleviate temper build up.

The Ruby is believed to bring light to the darkness of one’s life. It teaches one to see the truth in all things. The gem will protect and shield on all levels.

It is attuned to Archangels Michael and Jophiel, bringing Courage, Love, Passion, Prosperity and protecting against Evil.

Care of your Ruby stone: To discharge and recharge your Ruby run it through water and then put in the sunlight for a least 2 hours. You should do this twice a month.

Three Gems of June

Did you know that there are three gems for June? June’s Natal stones are the three gems: Pearl, Moonstone, and Alexandrite.

My favorite of these gems is the Pearl. It was believed by the ancient Greeks to harden the tears of Aphrodite the Goddess of Love. The Pearl promotes Charity, Loyalty, and Purity to the wearer.

Moonstone is the second gem, which is believed to bring good fortune and Intuition. The ancient Romans believed that Diana, the goddess of the moon, has her image enclosed in the stone, bringing Health, Victory, and Wisdom to the wearer. The most powerful time to use a moonstone is at a full moon — giving Inner Growth and Strength to the wearer of the gem.

Alexandrite is the third June traditional gem, which is a very uncommon stone and is extremely expensive . The stone is named after Prince Alexander of Russia. He became a Czar Alexander in 1855. It is a very lucky stone.
